Pennsylvania’s Numonics Corporation manufacture the ID42, ID50 and ID60 Interactive Display Touchscreen Overlays for various screen sizes.

The overlays attach to a plasma screen converting it into an interactive (electronic) whiteboard. It’s important that an overlay not significantly cut the light emission from the display beneath. Numonics literature quotes that their overlays absorb only 10% of the light from the covered screen and the viewing angle remains excellent.

Interactive Display (ID) features:

• Anti-glare protective coating,
• scratch resistant overlay membrane,
• Durable construction,
• connects to PC USB port,
• Navigate software applications by touching screen with mouse contols emulated.
• ID range compatible with most plasma displays - including Eizo, Fujitsu, NEC, Panasonic, Pioneer and Sony,
• Screen overlay does not obstruct infrared control of plasma screen,
• Software for quick annotation, highlighting and erasure, data saving and retrieval, note-taking and drawing

Software upgrades for increased functionality are available. The Interactive Display Touchscreen Overlays come with a 12 month warranty and the product specification states that they are rated for 1 million touches at any one point.
