May 17, 2007Mitsubishi Releases Nine 1080p DLP HDTVMitsubishi Digital Electronics America have introduced nine 1080p DLP HDTVs emphasising their shallow depth, compact form factor, 6-Color Light Engine, Thin Frame and that they have all been designed, engineered and built in North America.
Mitsubishi have grouped the nine models into a number of series including the:
All nine models in the HDTV range deliver up to 80 percent more color than standard HDTV to the x.v.Color’s wide color palette Mitsubishi’s proprietary 6-Color Light Engine generates yellow, cyan, and magenta directly rather than by combining red, green, and blue. This allows the reproduction of a wider range of colors, brighter individual colors and purer whites. Noise reduction has not been ignored with every model having Mitsubishi’s new Color 4D Noise Reduction which looks horizontally, vertically, within and between frames of video and additionally analyzing color to filter video noise. PerfectColor allows for advanced individual 6-color adjustment PerfecTint allows separate selection of the tint of each of the six colors for each input. Mitsubishi have not only provided three HDMI inputs but have made them to the latest HDMI 1.3 standard. A USB drive or card reader can be connected to the USB input for large-screen digital photo viewing. The 734 Series and Diamond models have Mitsubishi’s “Net Command” which appears to be their implimentation of a till now little known (optional) feature of HDMI called Consumer Electronics Control which can provide a simplified, global level remote control. HDMI-CEC allows up to ten AV devices to discover and communicate with one another over a HDMI connected system. HDMI-CEC also allows for global commands with individual CEC enabled AV devices able to command and control each other without user intervention. 0 Comments »No comments so far.
