The Infocus LP70+ is a very light 2.4lb (1.1kg) mobile business projector with an XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. It has a an excellent brightness for its “mobile” class of 1500 ANSI lumens making it suitable for operation in rooms with a fair amount of ambient light – although you wouldn’t want the image size to be too large. Contrast ratio at 1100:1 is suitable for the application. The Infocus LP70+ is a DLP projector having a Texas Instruments 0.7″ XGA DMD DDR.
There is some flexibility available for setting up the LP70+ with a 1.25:1 manual zoom and
+/- 15° Vertical Keystone correction (no horizontal or lens shift). Access to common functions is available with an integrated keypad.
External speakers will be necessary if you want anything to be audible to those further away from the projector as it only comes with a 1W speaker. Backing up the need for external speakers is the lack of whisper mode and a sound level is 32dB.
The projector comes with a workable range of connection options although there is no HDMI.
The warranty provided for the LP70+ is at the higher end of market expectations at two years with 90 days for the lamp.
