Plextor PX-HDTV500U USB HDTV Receiver for LaptopsThe Plextor PX-HDTV500U USB HDTV Receiver weighs less than 20 grams and allows users to watch, pause, and record live Standard Definition and High-Definition TV on most Windows-based laptop computers.
Set up is plug-and-play simple – just load the driver software and plug the PX-HDTV500U into your computer’s USB 2.0 port. The receiver software automatically scans for free air-to-air digital and HD signals in the surrounding area. A digital flat antenna is required to acquire signals. There is an integrated Electronic Programming Guide to schedule shows for recording. Recorded TV is converted to MPEG-2 files in real-time and stored on the computer’s hard disk drive.
