Infocus IN10 Projector - Ultra-Portable for Business

InFocus Corporation is a projection industry pioneer with some twenty years of experience. With the IN10 Infocus have just announced a projector aimed at the business user who wants a projector which can travel with them ready for use in potentially high ambient light conditions and varying space limitations such as trade display booths to conference rooms.

Infocus IN10 projector

Infocus IN10 Specification Highlights

The Infocus IN10 is a very light 2.4lb (1.1kg) and palm-of-hand compact (2.5 in (6.35 cm) H, 6.1 in (15.49 cm) L, 7.8 in (19.81 cm) W) mobile business projector with a suitable XGA (1024 x 768) resolution.

With an impressive brightness of 1,800 ANSI lumens the IN10 can be used in bright ambient light conditions. The Infocus L10 is a DLP projector utilizing a Texas Instruments 0.7″ XGA DMD DDR.

The contrast ratio of 1100:1 is suitable for the business applications intended.

Set Up Flexibility

Infocus have thought about set-up flexibility and included a 1.3:1 zoom lens manual zoom and +/- 15° vertical keystone correction (no horizontal keystone correction or lens shift). Access to common functions is available with an integrated keypad.

External speakers will be necessary if you want anything to be audible to those further away from the projector as it only comes with a 1W speaker. Backing up the need for external speakers is the lack of whisper mode and a sound level is 32dB.

The projector comes with a workable range of connection options. There is however, no HDMI connection or a monitor connection for seeing the projected display while still facing the audience.

The two year warranty provided for the IN10 is at the higher end of market expectations. The lamp life is rated at a comparatively long 4,000 hours and there is 90 day warranty.

An alternative portable Infocus business projector to consider is the LP70+ which has slightly lower brightness output and a smaller lens zoom range.
