The Infocus L10 is a DLP projector utilizing a Texas Instruments 0.7″ XGA DMD DDR. At 5 lbs (2.27 kg) the projector could be considered portable but, probably between office locations on the same floor rather than as an on-the-road unit. The Infocus IN32 can be permanently ceiling mounted if required. The XGA (1024 x 768) resolution is well matched to business applications as is the contrast ratio of 1000:1. With a maximum brightness of 2,000 ANSI lumens the IN32 can be used in bright ambient light conditions.

Set Up Flexibility

Given it will likely be moved about, Infocus have provided set-up flexibility in the form of 1.2:1 zoom lens manual zoom and +30° - 25° vertical keystone correction (no horizontal keystone correction or lens shift). Access to common functions is available with an integrated keypad.

External speakers will be necessary for larger or noisy environments as the projector only comes with a 3W speaker. Backing up the need for external speakers is the lack of whisper mode and a sound level is 35dB.

A handy inclusion for making business presentations is the monitor output which allows the presenter to view what is on the screen while still facing the audience – no squinting over ones shoulder while fiddling with a mouse.

The projector comes with a workable range of connection options. There is however, no HDMI connection or a monitor connection for seeing the projected display while still facing the audience.

The two year warranty provided for the IN32 is at the higher end of market expectations. The lamp life is probably at the lower end of average at 4,000 hours. There is a 90 day warranty on the lamp.
