The colors on it are phenomenal. The contrast between black and white are also very good. SD looks good too. This monitor performs very well as a computer monitor. I have it hooked up to a laptop via dvi-hdmi, and it is truly beautiful. I do, however, see a bit of very faint "banding" if there is an all white screen that pans vertically. It has not been an issue thus far. Not noticable during most normal tv viewing. Connectivity is excellent, there are 6 AV modes. 6 colors are available to tweak. Sound is also above average, with a total of 30 watts, and it passes dolby digital. If you can get it at a good sale price, you probably won't regret it. I have this tv, the 42″ version.
