The Optima HD7300 (Optoma HD7300 actually) is a packaging of a Gennum VXP technology image processor combined with a HD7100 720p high definition DLP projector.

Optoma HD7300 Projector and Video Processor Combo

The Optoma HD7100 is a 720p (1280×720 pixels) high definition home theater projector which can deliver 1000 ANSI lumens of brightness with a 5000:1 (peak) contrast ratio. The HD7100 is a DLP projector based on Texas Instruments DarkChip3 DLP technology. The 0.8 inch has native 720p high definition. DarkChip3 is the latest DLP technology offering higher brightness and contrast then previous versions.

The Optima HD3000 Video Processor is a professional video scaler and color management system powered by Gennum’s GF9350 VXP technology image processor. The GF9350 incorporates; TruMotionHD adaptive de-interlacing for optimal image sharpness and resolution for all formats up to 1080p60, FineEdge dynamic directional interpolation for eliminating jaggy artifacts found in traditional deinterlacing algorithms, FidelityEngine image enhancements for removing unwanted noise and improving detail and RealityExpansion for 10-bit processing.

Up to 14 digital and analogue inputs (including HDMI, Component, and SCART RGB) can be simultaneously connected and converted to a single HDMI output offering simplification of the connections to your display device. Input signals can be processed to match your display devices specifications.

Only a single HDMI cable connection is required between projector and image processor eliminating the need for multiple cables and simplifying the installation.
