Sony’s Bravia KDL-37M3000 and KDL-32M3000 are value targeted, entry level 720p (1366 x 768) high definition LCD televisions and come with a built-in ATSC digital tuner with QAM. The LCD display has the impressively fast response time of all the Bravia models which is a must if you want to use it for gaming as well.

The M3000 models are stylishly attractive with a two tone of black with silver trim. Twin 10W speakers are bottom mounted and the included pedestal is silver. An excellent 178 degree viewing angle ensures that everyone will get a good view of the screen. To get the screen brightness just right, there is a light sensor to detect ambient light levels and adjust the display’s CCFL backlight accordingly.

As well as the well renowned Bravia video processing engine there is a special 3D comb filter to reduce dot crawl and color imperfections in the image for sharp images and lifelike hues. There are three quick select picture modes; vivid, standard and cinema

Being Energy Star compliant, the Sony 3000M models is a guarantee of significant power savings.

Sony 3000M Sound

The Sony 3000M models come with SRS Lab’s patented SRS TruSurround XT surround sound technology. TruSurround XT is a multi-channel virtualization technology which produces a surround sound effect using only two speakers.

The Sony 3000M models also come with Dolby Digital Dynamic Range Control which allows one to limit the dynamic audio range compared to that originally recorded. It very usefully cuts out the peak volume that comes with special effects or heavy action sequences while still enabling one to hear the dialogue ie. it brings the loudest and softest sounds closer together. It’s an excellent solution for keeping children asleep and the neighbors friendly while still enjoying your viewing.
