Epson EX100 3LCD Multimedia Projector, XGA, 2700 Lumens Review

The Epson EX100 Projector is an ultrabright, 2700 ANSI lumens, multimedia projector in Epson’s EX range of business projectors for a corporate environment. The EX100 is notably the lightest and most portable of the EX business projector models with a very portable weight of 3.5lb/1.6kg. The EX100’s high brightness will support a large image size and will produce a clear projected image even in high levels of ambient illumination. The XGA resolution (1024 x 768 pixels) is one of the most common business projector resolutions sold matching widescreen PC monitor resolutions. Powering the Epson EX100 projector is the robust and popular 3LCD projection engine.

To assist with setup the Epson EX100 has +/- 40 degrees keystone correction. Some other EX models have automatic keystone correction for even faster setup.

If you need to break from your presentation, you can use the A/V Mute slide to temporarily turn off the image and sound when you want to redirect your audience’s attention. Presenters should note that the EX100 is the noisiest of the EX models at 40dB (high brightness mode) and 35dB (low brightness mode – 1100 ANSI lumens). For a quick departure without the need to wait for the projector to cool, the Epson EX100 has Instant On, Instant Off.

The two-year limited warranty on the projector is double the common one year while the 90-day lamp warranty is industry standard.
