Series 5 is further split into a number of different sub-series all of which have slightly different specifications. All Samsung Series 5 models have; Wide Color Enhancer 2 for more true-to-life colors (particularly blue and green) and natural skin tones Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) which allows control of compatible HDMI-equipped Samsung components using a single remote Game Mode to optimize picture and sound quality for gaming consoles. Feature enhances dark areas, sharpens images, reduces the HDTVs image processing response time and enhances sounds as well. SRS Tru Surround - the patented SRS technology which provides a virtual surround sound experience from only two speakers. It’s fully compatible with all multichannel stereo formats. Other notable features not available with all models include; Cinema Smooth (B590, B560) – 24p movie playback of movies recorded at 24fps (from 1080p/24 sources) ![]() FilterBright or Ultra FilterBright (B590) anti-reflective screen coating to remove distracting reflections on the screen and maintain the contrast ratio. Crystal HD Engine (B590, B560) providing enhanced imaging performance Wireless (with adaptor) to 802.11: (B590, B560, B550) for connection to other AV devices sans wires.
