Samsung’s C6300 1080p Full HD 120Hz LED LCD HDTV series comes in four display sizes; the 60 inch UN60C6500, 55 inch UN55C6500, 46 inch UN46C6500 and the 40 inch UN40C6500. Benefiting from LED backlighting the C6300′s dynamic contrast ratio is 4,000,000:1 which is an improvement of the order of 10 times compared to conventional fluorescent (CCFL) backlit LCD HDTVs. LED backlighting also brings the advantage a razor thing depth of 1.2 inches making the C6500 models, with their attractive Samsung graphite Touch of Color (TOC) design, ideal for wall mounting.

The C6300 models have an identical specification to the recently reviewed C6500 models except for a different TOC, slightly lower contrast ratio and the absence of Samsung Apps which gives access to a range of Internet sourced video content. However, there is still a wide range of multimedia content source options including; live information feeds, network access to digital media storage devices (including PCs) and HDMI enabled access to connected AV devices.
