June 25, 2010Optoma GT360 GameTime 3D 2500 ANSI DLP Projector ReviewOptoma’s GT360 is a DLP projector optimized for gaming. It has an excellent lamp power of 2500 ANSI lumens which will provide a bright projected image in even bright conditions. The contrast ratio which is an important factor in quality is a high 3000:1 (static: full on/full off). With a short throw (0.9:1) ratio the GT360 can project a 150 inch diagonal image from about 9 feet. Combined with 3D, a large projected image filling the visual field can produce a unique immersive gaming experience. Also noteworthy is the presence of twin, onboard 5W speakers which obviate the necessity for external speakers.
